In this video, we visit the final resting place of Tom Landry—a man who wasn’t just a football coach, but a true leader, innovator, and example of character.
Best known as the legendary head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, Landry helped shape the game of football as we know it today. From pioneering the flex defense to helping bring the shotgun formation into the mainstream, his impact on the sport is undeniable.
But what made Tom Landry truly different wasn’t just what he accomplished on the field—it was who he was as a man.
A World War II veteran who flew dangerous combat missions… a devoted husband and father… and a man deeply rooted in his faith—Landry led with humility, discipline, and purpose in every aspect of his life.
Through early struggles, including seven straight losing seasons, he never wavered. He stayed steady… and in time, built one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history.
Standing here today, this isn’t just about visiting a grave.
It’s about remembering a legacy.
A legacy of leadership.
Of integrity.
Of putting people first.
